Thank you to the generosity of everyone in the community, Print London can continue to develop programming for our annual event, The Ontario Miniature Print Exhibition (TOMPE2017).

Here is Laine's Bio from his website at http://www.lainegreenway.com/

Nuit Blanche 2016

Print London at Nuit Blanche 2016

Print London had a great installation on Dundas Street beside Budwieser Gardens. The theme was called Phantom Impressions and featured a 60 foot fabric path with over 50 different footprints and designs for people to try printing. However, as the sun dropped and the huge black lights and christmas light decorated tents began to glow the dark clouds overhead responded. Unfortunately right as night got into full swing the rain began. Thankfully we were able to get some great photos - even if it's more blanche than nuit. Many thanks to our volunteers who helped with the event!

Print London at the Fanshawe Pioneer Village

We took a guided tour of the historic “Free Press” print shop at Fanshawe Pioneer Village. Resident printer Doug Teeter demonstrated the process of printing a newsletter using original tools and techniques dating back to the 1850s. Somethings have changed a lot and others really haven’t!

Set of hand carved letter press letters.

It's amazing to see where so many of the fonts and terms I know from Microsoft Word originated!

Print London's First Exhibition!

Print London With Love: February 12-21 2015

Print London’s first show is at The Arts Project! Featuring 22 local print makers the exhibition displayed a wide variety of print techniques including: etchings, lithographs, silkscreens, relief, textile, sculptural and mixed media works.  Plus the group will be selling hand printed cards as a fundraiser for future printmaking endeavors!

A big thanks to the artists and Arts Project for making this possible!
