Mission Statement

Print London is a collective of professional London-based visual artists whose practices embrace traditional and contemporary print media and the multiple. Print London aims to stimulate printmaking in the region through promoting the discussion, production, dissemination and exhibition of print media and working towards establishing a print centre in London.

Vision

The Print London collective was formed in October 2014 by artists/printmaking professors from Fanshawe College and Western University. Our goals include bringing emerging and mid-career artists together with recent graduates of art programs in London in order to inspire these artists to continue to engage with printmaking in their practices, despite the lack of accessible printmaking facilities in London.

Through educational activities, formal discussions, and exhibitions, we aim to: provide a sense of community for printmakers in London and the sider region; support the exchange and sharing of ideas among artists in relation to printmaking; stimulate innovation in print media; bring public visibility to the print community in London; and establish links with printmaking communities across Ontario and beyond.
