Print London was excited to present TOMPE2024: The Ontario Miniature Print Exhibition. The fifth edition of TOMPE featured prints by 91 artists who hailed from coast to coast to coast.
In celebration of Print London’s tenth anniversary, we also hosted a second exhibition that ran concurrently. TOMPE@10 included works by six past TOMPE prize winners who had been invited to show a glimpse of their printmaking practice.
About TOMPE:
An open Call for Submissions to professional Canadian-based artists for TOMPE2022 attracted nearly 250 entries from 75 artists across Canada. Artists were invited to submit up to four original miniature prints in any printmaking medium or combination of mediums for consideration by a panel of three jurors:

Mary Reid, Director/Curator, Woodstock Art Gallery
Ruth Skinner, Executive Director, Forest City Gallery
After a challenging jurying process, 251 works by 91 artists were selected for the final exhibition, as well as First, Second, and Third prize winners and two Honourable Mentions. These prize winners were announced at the Opening Reception held on on August 24.

In celebration of Print London’s tenth anniversary, six past winners of TOMPE were invited to exhibit a small body of work that represents their printmaking practice. These works include intaglio, silkscreen, mokuhanga, relief, letterpress, lithography, and mixed media processes.
